Not many. Postal rates and print, ruined it. Do I know the best! Yes. From catalogs, no! From encounters. I suggest you find 1.

I liked this one:
20 pages of patterns, 22 pages of materials, more 170 pages total. Great reference.

I do a lot of business with Feather-Craft and J. Stockard. Bear's Den seems to blow hot and cold, I'm not impressed with their new web site.
Lately Spawn FlyFish has been becoming a more complete source:

Bob Marriott's Catalog was "The Mother" of all catalogs...no other shop publication ever came close to it's number of pages or content:
I believe that was the last year they published....
I always looked forward to receiving these when Craig Matthews was putting so much time and effort in getting it done:
I used to get The Fly Shop and Feathercraft Catalogs but these days one can find so much more online...

The best thing to do if you don't have a shop nearby, is sign up for email sales & newsletters from many shops and those listed here in this thread are all good places to buy from. Most brick & mortar shops now have an online presence. I have wholesale accounts with my business & still buy a good bit from shops when they have sales. That's not going to get you the best deals now, when you may want or need something, but it will help save a little in the long run, if you buy when prices have been reduced. I get a lot of emails, but doesn't take very long to browse through them and either save or delete them. The closest store to me that may have tying supplies is around 80 miles away.
Due to shop locations, many cater to a type of fly fishing more so than other types. A shop on the coast of FL for example will likely have a lot more supplies for saltwater than they may for trout fishing so that should be a consideration for your needs. Reading through those mentioned, I've made purchases from most over the years.
The fact is, there's a limited number of materials suppliers in the world, and many shops all carry the same brands. That's why it can be best to shop and compare. However, buying online, you get what is shipped so lose the advantage of seeing the materials first hand. I've never had many problems with that for my tying purposes.
Of course if you do find shops that you really like dealing with as many here have indicated, and the prices paid there are good for you, then nothing wrong with limiting your searches to only those shops.

Greetings earthlings:
My request, which all but one of you provided critical insight. My goal this year is to grow my puny knowledge, expand my understanding, and broaden my footprint of materials, styles, and techniques. I don’t live in an area that is rich in knowledge, history, or culture of the sport, so I don’t get the automatic or even accidental exposure some may experience.
Thank you for taking the time to respond. I will hunt down some of these catalogs no longer in print and get a road trip scheduled to visit some of these locations.

I along with my family, will be staying in a cabin near Raynolds Pass starting August 25. I am driving up there with my youngest daughter and her BF - will probably stop in at BRF to pick up a few things on the way. My son is flying into Bozeman with his wife and my youngest grandson then driving up to meet us. I will be about 3 miles away from The Slide Inn and may drive down to Ennis on a break day or to visit The Continental Divide for dinner.
I visited that Fly Supply Shop back in 2017 when it had a different name and was owned by Matt Rosenthal:
Bozeman Fly Supply
Formerly Bozeman Family Fly Shop, Bozeman Fly Supply is a fly shop located in Bozeman, Montana with a large variety of fly fishing gear and fly tying materials.

The shop that Silver posted above is one of my favorite stops for breakfast and an incredible selection of feathers:
I'll stop in there on my way to toss some big stuff on the Madison between the lakes...

This photo is of the Campfire Lodge Resort and Cafe. One of the best breakfasts around
I noticed early this year they were kind of light on feathers, but they told me they still had a lot to unpack
Hopefully I will be back to the area of West Fork of the Madison and will make the drive up to between the lakes for breakfast and necks and saddles tj
