Weds May 29, 2024: Elizabeth has misgivings, Ava confronts Nina, Josslyn and Trina pursue a move, Brook Lynn affirms her devotion to Chase and Alexis gets the last word.
Tuesday’s GH recap: Brennan Warns Carly to Stay Away, Alexis Grieves Gregory and Maxie Urges Spinelli to Help Sam
At their apartment, Chase and BLQ have coffee and talk about him having to meet with Finn to support him before he reaches for a bottle.
Brook Lynn thinks he’s grieving and that he’d appreciate the support.
Chase is sad to miss their honeymoon but BLQ assures they’ll go another time.
She tells him she feels differently, like her capacity to love leveled up.
They kiss.
Finn visits Alexis at her place.
They embrace and he asks how things went without Albany.
She just wants to talk about his dad and how sad she is about his death and missing the wedding.
Finn says the wedding was perfect. He shares how Tracy and Violet rallied to get him through the ceremony.
Alexis cries, glad his last moments were beautiful.
They embrace again and Finn reveals how he found his father passed in his sleep.
Alexis calls it a blessing. Finn confesses to drinking. She tells him it’s okay.
He’s not sure if he would have drank if he didn’t have the accidental sip of champagne the night before.
Alexis is sympathetic but to him, that doesn’t excuse it.
She knows but there’s always an explanation and forgiveness.
He asks how she is. She laughs. She wants to drink but didn’t.
Finn claims he’s done with drinking.
They both agree, “For now.” They’re glad to have each other.
Later, once Finn leaves, Diane turns up.
They discuss Gregory’s passing and the court of appeals.
Diane says they don’t know anything yet but Diane thinks that it looks good.
Alexis thinks this is all about Fergus’ guilt. She fills her friend in on seeing the man.
Diane is glad for the tip. She will use that.
She’s off to GH to meet Gregory’s sons for the reading of his will.
Since she’s mentioned, Diane invites her along.
Alexis thinks he wants to be a literary executor and she’s proud to do it.
She wishes she’d gonde to the wedding.
Joss meets Trina at the gallery before they head to check out apartment listings.
Since Ava has an emergency meeting at Crimson, they need to wait for her return.
Neither wants dorm life again. Talk turns to Dex and the wedding.
Joss thought the wedding was good but says the reception was good until Sonny attacked Dex.
Trina asks if Dex will press charges.
Joss fills her friend in on him getting stitches and says it could have been worse if Jason wasn’t there to pull Sonny off Dex.
Ava heads into Crimson to see Nina and Maxie working.
Ava barks about how Nina has no integrity, causing Nina to sigh with exasperation and wonder where her assistant is.
Ava wants to know why she broke their deal.
Nina doesn’t know what she’s on about. Ava says she promised to dedicate two pages to someone she wanted.
Nina says there wasn’t enough space.
She had to dedicate those pages to something her daughter is into.
Ava snaps that Willow wants nothing to do with her. Nina alludes to having a man and Ava lowers her voice.
“Let me guess. He lives in Canada.” Nina laughs and Ava snarks that all she has left is being editor of Crimson.
She stomps off and Maxie says they were both out of line.
Why is she antagonizing Ava? Nina reminds Maxie of what Ava did to her.
Maxie knows all that and asks if she regrets the divorce. Nina doesn’t but becoming her enemy is Ava’s choice.
Maxie reminds her that Ava’s a murderer. Nina smiles.
She’s in no danger but the look on Ava’s face was almost worth a little arsenic.
Nina continues to rant that the woman has no place to live and her job isn’t as big as hers.
Besides, Sonny will never love her. Maxie asks who the gentleman friend Nina was alluding to.
Must be Drew? Nina says yeah, they’ve a good thing going and it doesn’t hurt business.
Maxie asks if the sex is that good.
Nina says she’s also back on speaking terms with Willow and in turn, Nina got him a meeting with Congressman McClonky.
Maxie asks if they’ll keep going at it. Nina says he’s resistable.
Drew arrives at Willow’s to see Michael.
He’s on the school run. Drew has to run something by her that he wants to be kept secret from the rest of the Quartermaines.
Drew tells her that McConky wants him to run for his seat in Congress.
Willow’s pumped. He’d be perfect.
The more they talk, the more Drew is interested, but he worries his prison record will go against him.
Willow thinks it might work for him.
He asks her to be his campaign manager since she’s so supportive but she has a job. He jokes that she’s fired.

Finn arrives at GH in the break room to apologize to Elizabeth.
She was right and he had no right to speak to her like that.
He talks about numbing the pain with alcohol but doesn’t call it an excuse.
He’s done drinking and has already been to AA this morning.
Liz thanks him and explains she was only thinking of Violet — putting her first.
Finn gets it. Tears slide down his cheeks. Liz thinks he sounded like he owned Violet.
She’s never seen that side of him before. Didn’t know he was capable of it.
Finn vows she’ll never see it again, either. He’s grateful she looked out for his kid. He gets a notification. Chase is there. They have the reading of the will.
Ava walks in on Joss and Trina discussing Dex getting beaten and chastizes them for gossiping.
Joss said she was there and her sister told her everything.
It wasn’t gossip. Ava wasn’t there. She couldn’t know what happened since she wasn’t invited.
Trina comes between them, thinking it’s time to go.
Finn meets Chase in his office and tells his brother he hasn’t had a drink.
Chase is glad but trusts that he’ll take care of himself and Violet.
Diane arrives and names Chase the executor of the will. He’s surprised. Finn smiles.
He names Alexis the literary executor.
He wants his estate divided between his two sons and for Violet to enjoy his library which he leaves to Violet.
He wants to be cremated and an open-air memorial with friends and family gathered to witness the scattering of his ashes. The men agree to abide by his wishes.
Alexis storms into the art gallery and tells Ava she met her friend, Fergus Byrne, who she figures Ava hired to get her disbarred.
Ava smirks and remembers now.
She imagines Fergus is having a good day. Alexis asks why she went out of her way to ruin her career.
Ava’s voice softens. It wasn’t out of her way at all.
She used Julian’s love for her on repeat, leading him on only to cast him aside.
Then she ran him over with her car while on a bender.
Alexis was on the bender after Julian manipulated her.
Ava reminds her she is the one who purged herself, it’s not her fault.
There wasn’t anything in the affidavit that was untrue. Alexis knows but she objects to Ava’s cruelty.
Alexis misses practicing law so much more, knowing Ava hasn’t paid for her own mistakes.
She’ll pay for that complaint.
Liz visits Finn in his office and he tells her about the reading of the will which she thinks sounds beautiful.
She tells him she loves him and will pick Violet up at school for him if he wants.
He’s grateful for her professing her love and picking up his kid.
Back at Chase and BLQ’s apartment, Chase tells his wife about the reading of the will.
She’s excited he’s executor, thinking it’s an honor.
He feels a bit of pressure. BLQ will help him through it. They make out.
