In Star Wars: Hunters, you can choose from three character classes to team up with your allies. Each class offers a unique playstyle based on its primary weapon, ultimate ability, and active and passive abilities. To succeed, you must play each class according to its intended role.

Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each class is crucial for effective gameplay. This knowledge allows you to maximize the potential of each character, ensuring your team performs at its best. Without a solid grasp of each class type, you will not be able to fully utilize each character, leading to frequent losses.

Damage Class

The damage class specializes in eliminating aggressive opponents from the opposing team. Characters in this class come equipped with abilities, including their main weapons, that deal significant damage to single targets.

Their ultimate abilities can potentially achieve a team kill if the enemies are caught in a trap or are grouped closely together. With the right strategy, it is possible to wipe out the entire team using the damage class.

When playing as a damage class character, positioning is crucial. Unlike the tank class, damage characters typically have lower health and cannot absorb as much damage. Therefore, you should always strike with melee or ranged attacks while staying close to a tank class character on your team for protection.

Most characters in the damage class have ranged weapons and abilities. For instance, Aran Tal, Imara Vex, and Utooni excel as ranged damage dealers and can be utilized effectively without staying close to a tank class character.

Despite having lower health than tank characters, damage class characters are equipped with mobility abilities to help them escape danger quickly. Aran Tal has a jetpack, Imara Vex uses a grappling hook, and Diago has heightened senses, allowing him to detect approaching enemies and reposition in advance.

Support Class

The support class character has one primary role: to keep teammates alive and provide buffs, especially during critical moments like pushing through choke points. While they have medium to long-range weapons, focusing on offense is not the ideal playstyle for support characters.

Each class has unique abilities and health levels, so positioning is crucial. The support class can be played in two main ways: you can either stay very close to the tank class character to keep them alive with healing or enhance their defenses and offense with buffs, or you can position yourself behind the tank and damage class, focusing entirely on support without dealing much damage to opponents.

Playing with the first playstyle, where you stick close to the tank, comes with the risk of becoming an easy target if the tank falls. However, positioning yourself at the back of the team allows you to keep everyone alive while also dealing burst damage when the opportunity arises.

If you choose the second playstyle, Skora is the best character for the job. She has a passive self-heal that restores her health when she is out of combat. During combat, her ultimate ability, Unstable co*cktail, creates a pool that heals all allies within it and damages any enemies who enter.

Tank Class

The tank class in the game has the highest defense and health compared to the damage and support classes. This class can absorb incoming damage from multiple targets and overpower opponents in one-on-one fights.

The Sentinel is the most balanced tank character, offering both offensive and defensive support to teammates. His ultimate ability, Empire's Finest, summons two additional stormtroopers that follow him and fire at the same targets.

All tank characters come with active and passive abilities that enhance their survivability. While most tank class characters are suited for defensive play, Slingshot is an exception. Slingshot's ultimate, Rocket Stomp, along with abilities like Unstable Shield and Trickshot, lean towards an offensive playstyle, favoring rushing over playing it safe while teammates attack.

If an offensive playstyle is not your preference for a tank class character, consider selecting Grozz. His ability, War Cry, restores his health, allowing him to soak up more incoming damage and maintain control of the battlefield on his terms
